Scientific Visit of Our Group to South Korea
Our group members, Dr. Igor Berinskii and PhD student Maksim Sviridenko, recently participated in a scientific visit to South Korea, where they met with researchers from several leading Korean universities.

During the visit, they had the opportunity to meet with research groups led by Prof. Anna Lee at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Prof. Jinkyu Yang at Seoul National University (SNU), and Prof. Seok Kim at Yonsei University.
As part of the scientific exchange, Maksim presented his ongoing research on origami-inspired structures, shared recent results, and received valuable feedback from researchers working in related fields. The discussions provided new perspectives on his work and helped identify promising directions for further research.
The visit was an excellent opportunity to exchange scientific ideas, discuss recent developments in mechanics and advanced materials, and explore possibilities for future international collaboration.
We sincerely thank our Korean colleagues for their warm hospitality, engaging discussions, and valuable insights. We look forward to strengthening these connections and developing new scientific collaborations.
